Newbie looking for a mentor and networking in Indianapolis

Hi BP community!!  I'm new to real estate investing and I'm looking for a mentor and other networking in the Indianapolis & Carmel, Indiana area.  I'd also love any advice on the best kinds of investments to get started.  I'm considering foreclosure auctions to hopefully scoop up a property or two to do a quick flip.  Ultimately, I'd like to buy and hold residential and/or commercial rental properties to cash-flow my life.  I'm open to other opportunities as well.

Real estate has always been interesting me.  Several years ago I got a real estate agent license just for fun and for the education.  I did not join a brokerage or become an agent.  I continued on with my 9 to 5 in Healthcare, meanwhile still dreaming of making the leap to real estate investing.  I'm back and ready to learn all that I can about creative financing and building my portfolio using other people's money.

I appreciate any and all advice!!  Thanks so much for letting me join your community!
