How do you folks track various expenses  (furnishing, food, payroll, local & air transportation, referral fee, licensing fee, repairs/renovation etc.)?Do you link business credit card (or bank account) to QuickBooks? How to track cash expenses (like groceries)? Need expense tracking for taxes and self analysis.

@Ashley Chris have accounts for each segment business and personal. CPA has a bookkeeper that categories my Business transactions and makes statements for me. I download spreadsheets with all the transaction for personal and do the same. For cash I treat that as slush fund/ play money. When I take cash out I just consider that fun money. Unless it is for a big purchase where getting a discount for cash, then record that but doesn't happen often.

Best of luck!
