What Is Your Net Worth Or Passive Income Goal?

This post was just inspired by @Jason Scott who just posted on FB how most people will never achieve $10 million, $100 million net worth etc (and theres nothing wrong with that) (Also, in like a decade on here Ive never been able to tag Jason even though I have super power moderating capabilities).

So I was curious what is everyones net worth goals? Or your passive income goals? My net worth goal is $7 million.

My passive income goal for the past year has been to get to $10k a month (from my LTR income only. I don't even like to count my STR income as that is used solely for down payments for more properties). I am currently about 1 deal away from hitting 100k a year in LTR income. Which puts me at 3-5 away from 10k a month. I think I can hit it by the end of the summer. Then it's time for a new goal!

I like your style. I am the same way. The last few deals I have done my wife has been saying “we don’t need more, just hang it up.” The problem is, I love making deals and working on houses. Frames a vaulted ceiling yesterday and it looks amazing.

I used to have a goal of 100m net. I think I will fall way short of that but I have things (marriage, kids, coaching wrestling) that have come up in life that have made me redirect my focus. I could not tell you my net worth or my monthly net income because I don’t really keep track. My only goal is market rents and being 100% full.

How I invest is “see the deal, but the deal”.

    8-10 million plus net worth

    25-30k/mo passive income

It’s a good goal to reach for, and the path is set...

My first goal is to be able to retire by 40 which is 8 years from now. Then I'd like to build my portfolio to 85k a month working just 10-15 hours a week because I don't believe you can manage a real estate business that size with no work. My ultimate goal is to build generational wealth that my family can continue to grow long after I pass.

$85k a month?  I'd expect to have  a whole lot more work that 10-15 hours a week.  Assuming you having a PM for the properties?  So would it be checking up on the PM?

@Lynnette E. Yes assuming I have a PM for my properties but I also plan to employ younger members of my family to groom them to continue the business.
