Looking into a lake place in Mn. To use as an Airbnb. Wondering if anyone can help me with who I need to get in contact with to see the rules/laws/regulations for these in my county?

@Aaron Harren I would think that depends on the county. I’m guessing that most rule counties have no policy on this because there’s not enough density to impact them. Post more information and someone might be able to help you since a lot of people have tags make sure you mention the county and several nearby cities to get the best results

Go to the subject city's website, call them and ask. The city will likely be the one to govern short term rental policy. The more specific the department the better, but the reception person should be able to direct you.

Contact @Selena Walsh and @Scott Jackelen, they have operated many STRs and also work with clients in managing STR properties on their behalf. Very knowledgeable in this area and I believe they even have a STR located in that county.
