Join us Tuesday, September 22 for a hands-on session on identifying motivated sellers and negotiating better deals. I’m leading the workshop using ideas from Chris Voss’s Never Split the Difference, with examples you can use whether you’re talking directly to a seller or working through an agent.

We’ll work through three things:

• Find out what’s driving the sale. Ask better questions about motivation, timing, and what the seller actually needs.

• Get past “the seller won’t budge.” Understand what’s holding up the conversation and what to ask next.

• Build an offer beyond price. Use timing, repairs, and certainty to make your offer stronger without abandoning your numbers.

We’ll work through a deal scenario together, compare approaches, and leave time to meet other Charleston-area investors. Bring a deal you’re working on or a conversation you’re stuck on. New investors are welcome.
