STR investing in Panama City Beach

STR investing in Panama City Beach

I am a first time investor and looking at multiple markets. I am considering a property between Sunnyside and Laguna Beach. The property is 0.4 miles from the beach. The house itself is a fantastic fairly new build (2017). My biggest concerns are 1) the property is not exactly walking distance to the beach, and 2) the area looks a little crummy in spots with some trailers. Should these be deal breakers?

I believe you just answered your own question. If you have two concerns just think of the reviews you might receive about those two things that you can’t change.

Hey Nicholas, PCB is a really hot market right now for short term. We have a STR on the east of the beach that is about a 5 min dr from the water. We are staying around 87% occupancy right now. I wouldn't worry about being able to walk to the beach as a deal breaker.

Did you buy in the Laguna Beach area and if so how is it doing?  We are thinking about investing in a house in the same area and wondering the same questions. Thanks
