We live in Ann Arbor, MI and have a long term rental by the UM Hospital. We just purchased a short term rental in downtown Traverse City, MI and have it listed on Airbnb and VRBO. Looking to find an online or in-person group for meet-ups for support and education.

There is no shortage of short-term rental meetups or Facebook groups that provide a wealth of knowledge from a wide variety of experiences and its free! I know there's one for Michigan but I don't think I've seen one specifically for Traverse City. Other than ensuring you are on the up and up with permits and licenses which would be a quick search through the city website do you need an in-person group?

Agreed with what Michael said. Look into Facebook groups: couple of them that come to mind is Build Short Term Rental Wealth, Mid term rentals with Jesse Vasquez, Airbnbesties (Rob's group).
There's probably some local real estate groups that might be helpful too!

I suggest you join your LOCAL Airbnb Community Host Club. There are HUNDREDS of these groups around the world, moderated by local hosts in each area. (I know because I am one.)
Here you can get hyper-local support, and there are usually online and in-person meetups, often quarterly.
