Hey All,
I'll be traveling to Costa Rica for a wedding and wanted to explore the market while I'm visiting. Does anyone have experience with buying rental or STR property there or have a connection there that I could speak to?

That’s great! Thanks for the replying @Shiloh Lundahl, here's what I'm looking for: good areas to invest, good resources to find properties, general information about the buying process, any realtors and other locals that can help, and expected returns in the area for STR.

But first, I'd like to know where you're starting from. That will help me know what level to explain things. What is your experience with investing in vacation rentals or other real estate investments?
