Mine is Delice Downing. She is the volleyball coach at the local junior college. Her last 2 seasons were 44-2 and 40-3. Yes, she is the back to back national champion coach for NJCAA Division II women's volleyball.
The coach isn't actually renting from me. But she arranged the rental of one of my STRs in an apartment complex to house her volleyball summer camp students, since the dorms are closed. She did this last summer too.
These are all athletic women between the ages of 18-20. Their neighbors in the apartments are all guys between the ages of 25-60. They do refinery contract work. Directly across from the women's apartment the guys moved several of the gas and charcoal grills, they set up a dozen lawn chairs, a couple of tables, and they keep 2 or 3 coolers stocked with beer. Every night they have a cookout/party and try to lure the girls over to their activities.
LOL I can't think of anyone who's rented from me who has any sort of notoriety, even on the local level... but my realtor in California had Jada Pinkett Smith and Willow Smith as guests in one of her vacation rentals.
I had a former Korean supermodel and now reality TV star Jang Yoon-Ju in my property in South Korea. She rented it with her husband for two years. She was a perfect tenant....didn't hear a peep from her and she left the property in perfect condition.
My best tenants are the group of college friends that get together every so often for a long weekend. They pay the extra guest fee, don't complain, treat the place well and leave a glowing review.
I once had a rock band inquire but we wouldn't allow a tour bus in the driveway.
I hosted the band G-love and special sauce at one of our houses in Columbus. They gave us free tickets to the show, and gave us a shout out during their set!
