Hi does anyone use a commercial cleaning service that has cleaning crews they can send out on demand if your current cleaner has an emergency and can't make it last minute?
A reputable cleaner will ensure your unit gets cleaned hell or high water. As a long distance investor you should be asking that question during the vetting process. Cleaning and property maintenance are big business in the smokies. If you can’t find a cleaner who has your back keep looking.

@Diana J Adams Sorry to hear you're having this issue! But @Karen Chenaille is correct - they should already have a backup system in place. It's literally the first question I asked my cleaner when I interviewed them. Also, all the cleaners know each other - yours should be able to recommend someone who can cover for them if necessary.
When you say "cleaner" do you mean someone to clean up between occupancies or someone to remove a corpse and clean up the evidence? I had to deal with the latter.
It hasn't happened yet and they have a backup however I prefer to play it safe. I live in Tampa and we have a couple commercial cleaning companies we can call in a pinch if the worst were to happen - ie family emergency and the backup is snowed in. I was just curious if there are any companies in the area that you use in that scenario. Thanks so much for all the responses! :)
@Lucas Carl I wish I could say I hadn't had my fair share of snow this year. My elevation is only 1700, and I've had two guests snowed in and just recently bought salt to spread around the walkways. The last guest complained about it not being available and the parking area was slippery.
Thankfully both guests didn't want to go anywhere, so I didn't have to have my 1/2 mile long driveway cleared off but I may not get that lucky next season.
In addition, the recent rain that caused flooding in Wears Valley prevented anyone from getting to the cabin including my cleaner, their backup and the guests. I guess in that scenario unless the emergency cleaning crew was helicoptered in it wouldn't matter if I had a contact for an emergency cleaning service or or not. :)

Not sure if this is available in your area but Here in Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg we have used the service TurnoverBNB. It is a marketplace where cleaners can advertise their services they offer and also you can offer up your property LOOKing for a service provider. We have a few cleaners who rave about it. Good Luck
