Air BnB in a good area or long term rental?

I am looking to purchase a home for air bnb in st. Charles Missouri. Would it be smarter to find a house that needs repairs or get one ready to rent out with little rehab?

    It would be smarter to not buy a vacation rental till this blows over unless you are getting a super deal.

    That said you will usually get a better deal on a fixer upper.
