Investing in New Jersey

Hi everyone, I am new investor joining the BiggerPockets forum. I have been listening to the biggerpockets podcast hosted by David Greene for a while and have recently joined the forum. Would love to connect with New Jersey commercial lenders and fellow investors. Tried to look for meetup events in new jersey, have not found many, please let me know if you are aware of any meetup events in New Jersey.

@Yangyang Jin Definitely check meetup and eventbrite. Myself and a couple other investors host one the last Thursday of the month at a different brewery each month. This month is Bull and Bear in Summit NJ August 25th at 6:30PM. There's another one that's monthly which is in Morristown which Shawn Mcinteer and Jake Handler host. Nick Tangs events are great as well, Chris Goodson has one monthly in Bloomfield, etc. I try to hit at least one a week so reach out anytime! I always try to share any meetups I can with people !

@Yangyang Jin not sure where you have been looking but there are plenty. Lookup the central NJ Real Estate Investing Group; NJ REIA with Nick Tang and multifamily landlord/syndication Meetup. These can be found on event Brite, Meetup.com or if you Google or go on Facebook you can find them.

Welcome to the bigger pockets forums! There are plenty of real estate meet-ups here in New Jersey. A good portion of them get listed on Eventbrite, just look up real estate events near me. The other good chunk of events will be found on Facebook and instagram posts once you start connecting with active investors here in the area that host events. Feel free to DM me I can send you a list of upcoming events I see coming up. Best of luck!

Hi @Yangyang Jin Welcome to BP. I host a few meetups in North Jersey with goal of adding value and connecting investors with one another. Next events will be a mixer at local brewery in Little Ferry, great for connecting with other investors. We get anywhere from 50-70 guest. I will also be hosting a Saturday morning event towards the end of the month "Commitment, Consistency & Coffee" in Boonton NJ. Please DM me for additional info, events will be announced on BP soon.
