I currently own a lovely townhome with a walkout basement that I'm preparing to House Hack.
Williamsburg is a less investor friendly place to live in, so I'm looking to partner with others who love the Pittsburgh area as much as I do on 10-50 unit multifamilies. I'm looking for light value add in C to B+ neighborhoods.

Hi Heather! Newbie investor here but have you considered the Norfolk/Portsmouth area? With Norfolk Naval Base, EVMS and ODU, rentals are always in demand. The challenge is finding a multi-family unit in the right area to invest in. I have a condo near EVMS but I used to live in it before renting through furnished finder for traveling professionals. If you have someone to partner up with and get the right deal, it could be worth looking into.
Hey Heather, have you considered the Syracuse NY area at all? Multi families are very common due to multiple hospitals and universities. All types of neighborhoods ranging from C to A. Very affordable relatively speaking and competitive market rents. The micron microchip processing plant is coming in 2025 and is likely to cause a huge need for housing

I’m not an investor yet, no. I’m with HUNT Real Estate. I also plan on house hacking once I’m more financially stable and renting out the second unit of a multi family property. Multi families are very popular in the area and single family properties that need live are also pretty common. It’s Avery good market for buy, hold, and some areas have great appreciation as well
