New Member - New to Real Estate
Hey BiggerPockets community!
My name is Colton, and I’m brand new to the real estate world, but I’m diving in with full commitment and a ton of energy. I’ve been soaking up knowledge for a while, inspired by the stories and advice shared here, and now I’m ready to start taking serious action.
One of my biggest strengths coming into this journey is my network. Thanks to my mom, who exposed me to the power of networking at a young age, I’ve been able to build a massive, diverse network over the years. As a federal employee working closely with the military community, I’ve made meaningful connections on bases across the country. Whether it's service members, contractors, or civilian professionals, I’ve been fortunate to connect with incredible people who support and share in the mindset of growth and opportunity.
I’m currently working on getting my real estate license, and I’m actively learning all I can about investing strategies, from buy-and-hold to house hacking, wholesaling, and more. My long-term goal is to build a strong portfolio that provides financial freedom, sets a solid example for my daughter, and helps others along the way.
If you’re also just starting out or already doing deals and open to connecting, I’d love to hear from you. I’m especially interested in learning from those who have found creative ways to leverage their networks and community ties to grow in real estate.
Looking forward to connecting with many of you and building something great together.
