New here! Based in Philly and finally making the leap from reading BiggerPockets to actually taking action.

I’m ready to start flipping or holding rentals — whatever makes sense.

I formed my LLC and am now hunting for deals in Philly (especially areas like Brewerytown or Germantown). Hoping to connect with investors, agents, or anyone who's active here.

Let’s learn, build, and make some solid returns. DM always welcome.

@JiYoun Song Welcome! Glad to see Germantown is on your radar. The neighborhood possesses good fundamentals.  I am wrapping up a 4 unit mix-use project in neighborhood. I would say there’s more nuance to the neighborhood than any other Philadelphia neighborhood so it’s important you do your homework and really get to know the neighborhood before you pull the trigger on your first purchase.

Welcome!! You can do great things. Just make sure you truly know what you are doing. Flipping and buy&hold are two distinct strategies with very different goals - building wealth versus quick profit. Each require a different set of resources and abilities. Often people flip to build up their cash reserves to move to buy&hold. New flippers are taking on tremendous risk. Check out what is happening with flipped properties in the areas you are looking - are they selling?
