Newbie to REI, pleased to meet ya

Hello everyone. I'm Sonya, and I am both chomping at the bit to get started, and terrified at the same time! I am in the west Ga area, more specifically Paulding county. Are there any REIA's out this way? If not, would anyone like to start one with me?

    Hey Sonya! Totally get where you’re coming from — that mix of excitement and nerves means you’re right where you’re supposed to be!

    I'm not local to Paulding County, but I'd definitely recommend checking Meetup.com or Facebook for any REIA or investor meetups nearby (try searching "West GA REIA" or "Atlanta submarkets"). If there's nothing active, starting your own is a great idea — even if it's just a small coffee meetup at first. You'll attract like-minded folks quickly.

    I live in Paulding County.  There's a meetup in Cartersville the 2nd or 3rd Monday each month.  Full disclosure - I've never attended one.   Here are the details - this is from a post in a different BP forum.
