Welcome to BP, Stephen! Flipping can be a great way to build momentum, especially in San Antonio’s market. The biggest advice I give new flippers: you make your money on the buy, not the sale. Run your numbers conservatively, build in a buffer for taxes/holding costs, and don’t underestimate timelines. With the right structure, you can keep more of your profits instead of handing them to the IRS.

@Stephen Lopez I'm curious why you decided to dive straight into flipping where a lot of things can go wrong (especially for the newbies) rather than getting your feet wet with less risky endeavor like wholesaling for example.

Welcome Stephen and best of luck to you. I was able to get my last deal with REO as source. SA is rich in REO properties that aren't super difficult to obtain.
