Sounds awesome, Aarya! Welcome! Love meeting people who are building things too. I’m mostly in the Midwest rental space, so I’m always curious to hear how folks in other asset classes are scaling and what you’re working on day to day.

      @Mackaylee Beach Thank you for the warm welcome! Our team is currently working on franchise hotels, specifcally with Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt, that have some sort of value add component. We don't shy away from renovations but prefer operational value add (where we can restructure on property management, create a better guest experience, upsell/downsell at the front desk, etc)!

      I see you are a real estate agent from Kansas City, I would love to connect and learn a little more about what you do and Kansas City as I personally try to invest in other asset classes.

    Welcome to BP, great place to meet like minded people! We have done a lot of funding in the hotel/motel space with success, it's a great space to invest in. Always happy to network or be a resource, I love people doing cool stuff in RE as well!

      Lets definitely connect, I'd love to learn more about multifamily investing. It's actually one of the reason why I wanted to get on the bigger pockets platform so I'd love to pick your brain.

      Our team is buying mainly Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt branded hotels with some sort of value add component (preferably operational). Focused on markets with high supply constraints and good fundamentals on the reason for travel.

      what about yourself, what sort of thing are you working on?

    I’m based in the Triad market here in North Carolina (Greensboro / Winston-Salem / High Point), working with investors on small multis, value-add properties, and rental portfolios. We get a lot of interest from out-of-state operators because the fundamentals here are strong, and the market scales well for both hospitality and residential.

    Your focus on Marriott/Hilton/Hyatt with operational value-add is really interesting — would love to hear more about how you identify supply-constrained markets and what you look for operationally before pulling the trigger.
