Hello everyone! As the title states I have been lurking on the Biggerpockets website for a long while and finally decided to introduce myself today!

My name is Chase Busick, & I started investing in early 2014 while in the military, by aggressively increasing my savings rate (as I am a pretty minimal person) & sacrificing thousands of hours of my time, energy, & money in self education. I had nobody tell me what to do, guide me, & essentially have been DIY since I started, then been investing in many different things over the years while being conservative & prudent with my strategy. I had intentionally transitioned into real estate & business in the Oklahoma City metro at the end of 2019 after stumbling in the industry after one of Robert Kiyosaki’s books & online educational material.

After paying for several programs, coaching & taking advantage of as many free things as possible - I finally got my real estate license & joined a very influential investor friendly real estate brokerage. At the time, an amazing deal fell into my lap from someone I knew, then half a year after that had stumbled into a couple more rent ready properties. It was the best decision I ever made. Fast forward to today, I have transitioned from full time military to a full time real estate professional in many different avenues of the industry, while still actively serving in the National Guard part time & utilizing my education benefits to compound my growth, connections & credibility. Along the way, I have encountered many lessons from the school of hard Knox & achieved a self educated MBA (Management by Absence) degree in overall business, investment, real estate & strategy to be fully optimized to help others succeed in the business.

I don't promote that much, but I primarily help service other investors with their wealth strategies, business/personal optimization goals, credit, coaching, acquisitions, operations, lending/financing & more. I also have current investment opportunities that can pay up to 6-9% return a year - payments monthly & a lot of additional securities to protect one's investments (can utilize regular money or self directed IRA/401k options).

I am also looking to help more people with attaining home ownership, obtaining commercial/private financing or investing. I am always open to meet up or take a call to help anyone & point them in the right direction financially for their family's future. As well as creating ongoing vendor relationships to help with their businesses/multiple sources of income.

I value family, following ethics & prudent principles, morals, honesty, quality work, as well as dedicated commitment to purpose & mission. I want to do business with others that share the same values, are good people & want to do good things when nobody else is looking.

I want to connect, chat with, as well as help as many other people as possible while building everlasting relationships!

Who wants to connect?

Hi @Chase Busick:. Pleased to meet you. I've always wondered why there are so many lurkers. When I take on someone to train them, They are usually self sufficient within a year of "one one one" training. Is it because there is no one looking over your back telling you what to do?

You say you were "sacrificing thousands of hours of my time, energy, & money in self education. I had nobody tell me what to do, guide me"

Since there are a lot of charlatans out there, how would you know that what you were doing was profitable and legal?

Well, I'm glad you now have the courage to step up and and "Here I am". Let us help where we can.

@Ken M. Nice to meet you virtually!

My expression comes down to me not willing to promote as much, as well as not being on here as often as I should. With that being said, I love & have followed Biggerpockets for years & have been more of a consistent effort lately to reply to other forums to add additional insight when & where I can.

I always recommend learning from others experiences, avoid unnecessary growing pains, & accelerate the growth potential. Most of the time, it is a big hurdle for many to jump over when learning due to the inability to trust, pay for things (that pay ultimately set themselves in a new trajectory) & more.

The quote you made was in referring to me taking the time to learn over 12 years from others, whether via books, audiobooks, podcasts, Programs, coaching, blogs, personal experience & overall personal development. I never used to be good in school, so learning about money, personal finance, credit, investing, etc. after getting out of school was a much better way to take learning more seriously as I am now responsible for what I do with my money & my potential future.

Thankyou for replying & I hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday so far!

Hey@Chase Busick if you are looking to connect with other high level investors and "sharpen the saw," then consider coming to Costa Rica with us in April for a high-level investor retreat. We usually have between 12 and 16 investors that have been investing for over 5 years and have done more than 50 investment deals.

@Shiloh Lundahl Sounds fun! We have things like that with our local REIA. I appreciate the invite, but will be hopping more on the online platforms more in order to provide my two sense to forums & posts.
