    Once you've created your LLC, the next step is to get a strong operating agreement in place, even if you're the only owner. This document lays out how your business will run and helps protect you legally by showing that the LLC is a real, separate business. Without it, it's easier for a court to hold you personally liable if something goes wrong.

    You’ll want to get an EIN from the IRS, open a business bank account, and keep your finances fully separate from your personal accounts. Setting up bookkeeping early and making sure you have proper insurance coverage will also help you feel more confident and prepared. Taking these steps now can make everything smoother down the road as you grow.
