Hey BP community! I’m an interior designerand licensed real estate agent based on Long Island and I’m looking to connect with active investors and flippers in the Suffolk County market.
A little about me: I approach every design decision as an investment decision. My background combines real estate, renovation, and interior design which means I’m not just making a property look good. I’m positioning it to sell at the top of its range or perform as a rental.
If that sounds like something useful to you I’d love to connect. Drop a comment or send me a DM.
I'm a contractor (as well as an MLO) but from a contractor perspective....design is without a doubt the hardest part of renovating or flipping. I enjoy it now, but it was definetely a much steeper learning curve than anticipated when I went from clients and bosses telling me what they wanted....to working on my own properties. I remember staring at paint colors for way too long ...like uhhhhhh lol I'd love to pick your brain sometime ;) n i'm not too far. I'm currently in Bristol, PA but i'm in jersey a lot. Not too far from Long Island.

@Hannah Keenan Great positioning. Design and real estate combo is exactly what some flippers need to maximize returns. You may want to connect with your local REIA group in Suffolk County as well as that is where most of the active investors are.

Welcome, Hannah! I really like how you framed design decisions as investment decisions. That is such an important distinction for investors.
The right design choices are not just about making a property look beautiful — they can impact days on market, rent potential, buyer perception, maintenance, durability, and overall return. I especially appreciate the focus on positioning a property to perform, whether it is being sold or held as a rental.
Great perspective, and I’m sure that combination of design, renovation, and real estate will be valuable to investors in your market.

Welcome to BP!
To get business off the site, some suggestions:
1) Do NOT post direct solicitations anywhere but on the Classifieds Forum! Moderators will remove them and may suspend your access.
2) Do post responses to Topics of interest to you and give some free advice.
3) Under Classifieds Forum DO regularly market your services in memorable ways: - Share past success stories - Share past horror stories - Maybe pick a random property, vary nationwide locations, and apply your expertise to it. - Get past clients to post Recommendations here on BP, and/or connect your Google Reviews here.
