Investor-Friendly Broker in Greater LA & Orange County – Say Hello!

Real Estate Broker · Los Angeles, CA · Member since 2026 · 11 posts · 2 votes

Hi everyone! I'm Robert Schmalz. I specialize in representing buyers, sellers, flippers, and wholesalers across Greater Los Angeles and Orange County.

I help flippers with ARV comps to find their next acquisition and aggressive listing strategies for completed rehabs. I also work with local wholesalers to move off-market inventory to qualified buyers. My goal is to be the go-to broker for investors—providing the MLS data and boots-on-the-ground support you need to get deals done.

I also host the Los Angeles Syndication & Note Investing Network.

Looking forward to connecting with local investors and talking SoCal real estate! Let me know what you are working on in LA or OC right now.

Robert, welcome. It sounds like there could be some strong overlap in what we do. I work on the business funding side, helping investors and business owners access capital through business lines of credit, 0% APR business credit, revenue-based funding and other financing options.

Since you’re already working closely with flippers, wholesalers and investors, there may be situations where someone has a solid deal but needs additional capital for acquisitions, renovations, reserves or operating expenses. I’d definitely be open to connecting and seeing if there’s a way we could become resources for each other and create some referral opportunities when the right situations come up.

@Robert Schmalz, I’m not working on anything in LA or Orange County right now since I’m based in Maryland, but I like that you’re working with investors on both the acquisition and resale sides. Having good comps and local knowledge is important, but I’ve also seen deals that looked great on paper change once the contract, title, ownership, or another property issue came into the picture.

I work with real estate investors regularly, and a lot of my involvement happens when they’re buying, selling, structuring ownership, or dealing with something unexpected during a transaction. Having professionals around the deal who understand how investors actually operate can make those conversations much easier.

Glad you introduced yourself, @Robert Schmalz. I’m a real estate attorney, broker, and investor, so there’s a lot of overlap between the clients you work with and the people I work with from the legal side. Happy to stay connected and exchange perspectives from our different markets.
