Hello--I have been here for about 4 years-upper valley NH, ever since we relocated from Chicago to here. Long story short, my husband worked at Dartmouth, 20 years ago--and I swore to never come back...there were no or very very little hair care products for African Americans in Hanover/Lebanon back then...Anyway, I earned my doctorate in psychology, became a licensed clinical psychologist and yearned for wide open spaces and a place to do my art--I now work for a distance learning institution (work from home) and my husband is back working at Dartmouth. The moral of the story, never say never.....sometimes you have to follow the yellow brick road and when there isn't one you just lay the bricks yourself and keep on stepping. Looking forward to meeting all of you, now that we are more settled and looking to expand our real estate holdings. Peace, Brian

Welcome, Brian. I assume you have solved the hair care dilemma by now? :-)
To meet local investors it's a little harder in the Upper Valley, because the closest meeting to you that I know of is NHREIA.com in Manchester. It's probably worth the trip, however, to connect with other investors and find NH professionals when you need them. I look forward to meeting you at the next event.

Hi Ann--Yes, I have solved the hair care issue....Sally Beauty in Lebanon :)...and when I go to Boston to visit friends, I go on mini buying sprees.
Thanks for the warm welcome....BTW, I have read your wonderful blog and your honorable history in RE and here as a hard money lender. I have been meaning to check out the NHREIA, and now will come down for the next event.
