Hello all. My name is Paul Baldasaro and I am from the Boston, MA area and also new to biggerpockets.com. My business partners and I are new to real estate investing and are hoping to connect to the right people and educate our selves to get started on the right foot. I am in the process of reinstating my real estate license that I let expire a few years ago. I mostly did rental units and the only experience I really have is the purchase of my own home. I look forward to connecting here and hope I can help and contribute as well.

Hey, @Paul Baldasaro Welcome to BP!

This is a great community of people who reach out to help each other every day.

If you do decide to reactivate your real estate license, reach out - we're recruiting.

The Boston area is really wild right now.  Southie, Eastie, Charlestown and of course, downtown Boston are all wildly overpriced.  So are Cambridge and Somerville.

There are still good opportunities south of Boston - particularly Brockton, Taunton, Fall River and New Bedford.  Some of the MFRs in these towns will approach the 1% rule - but not many.

You'll need to be prepared to act FAST and offer over asking price if the numbers work.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help!
