New Investor from the Tampa Bay FL area

Hi Everyone! I'm new to BiggerPockets and recently signed up for Plus membership. I currently have one small 2/1 condo rental property in the Tampa area. I have so many questions about real estate investment and am hoping I can network with other forum members here to learn and grow.

I'm currently trying to analyze deals in the area. but one thing I fear is overpaying for a property and thinking it was a "deal." Would love to share some of the reports from the Rental calculator and getting advice/feedback on if you guys think it would be a good deal or what would make it a good deal.

Welcome Allen! It's a great idea to share your numbers and get a second set of eyes! This is the perfect place for it, and you have the right idea. In the beginning you'll have these fears, but as you do more deals, you'll become confident and trust your numbers. @Allen Tong, there are a lot of great meet-ups and REIA groups in the St Pete/Tampa area. There's probably one a day if not more! I would check them out by going to meetup.com. There's one I go to on Mondays and will start going to another one once a month on Thursdays. It's a great environment if you're new because you meet lots of experienced investors, and they're happy to help us new to investing. If you ever need any help I'm a realtor in the St Pete area and happy to help!
