Hi everyone. I am new here, and from what I can tell, will love it here. I am from Huntsville, Al and see that others are as well, and one just joined and introduced his self.
My goal is to come here and find out as much information that I can on buying the home that I live in. Not sure if I should say much more, as afraid I might break a forum rule.
I am also looking for advice and mentors concerning contacting investors, and how business loans work.
And I am also here to learn and to understand, and maybe gain some new friends. This is an excellent site. So glad I found it.

Welcome to BP, there is a lot of grest free information here so take advantage of us. We are here to help, so are you renting the current house that you live in and is it for sale?
It is for sale, and I am on a lease with option to buy. I had hoped that I could have bought it back in April of 2009, as I only moved here for one purpose, which was to open up a Residential Assisted Living home for 3 elders. Long story. But in brief, I guess I was naive about the HOA and neighborhoods not wanting me to do this. My variance was denied, and the neighborhood tried to sue me as well. I sued the Board of Zoning based on FHAA laws, and both cases were dropped in my favor, and allowed the variance just a few months ago. The waiting depleted all my savings, which is why I am here, to find information, advice, knowledge, etc. on how to buy the home.
Thank you so much for welcoming me. It is kind of scary for anyone to come into a new forum. I am hoping to spend a lot of time today figuring out how to use the site, as it is quite big. But I am a fast learner. Again, thanks.

Best of luck with the process of buying your home! Buying our home was one of the best things we ever did, and it started us down the road to several years later, being in a position to start investing in more homes.
Hi Harry, thank you for welcoming me. I think the welcome board is excellent, as newbies on almost any site, feel that they made a good choice by joining, and get over their shyness, so to speak, if they are welcomed.
I have only been here a few days, and have already found valuable information, ideas, and so much more. So glad that I found BP.
