I wanted to get some feedback on questions I should ask RE agents before working with them on investments. Other than the tools they have access to, how do I know if I can trust them in looking out for my best interest? I want to expand my network and I know having an agent can be beneficial in my success. Thanks in advance.
Take them to lunch (pay for the check when it comes), have a decent idea of the area and type of property you’re looking for so you can speak like somewhat of an informed person.
They are going to want to know you have money or have access to money. You can describe how you intend to finance XYZ deal and see what they think. Maybe ask if they have any banks they’d suggest you talk to.
That’s a conversation and that’s how you will build trust between both of you.
