within 2 months i will be applying for a home loan, did a credit check and on 680 range, my negative mark is that i have a old 3 years utility collection that is $4000, i want to spend most of my saved money into the house but im concerned about this collection, should i deal with it or not?

@Klaycon Santos   In general yes, those issues have to be addressed.  You can call around to a few lenders and just explain the situation (without having them pull credit) for a second opinion.  But I recall when applying in the past those had to be addressed.
