Hello all. I just found the Bigger Pockets podcast about a month ago and so glad I did. I have always thought about REI but have always been hesitant to jump in. Well now I am motivated.

I am a stay at home dad of 2 kids, one is on the Autism Spectrum, so I stay pretty busy.  My wife suffered a stroke out of nowhere in 2018 and although she is back at work full time, still suffers from constant headaches.  So I have finally decided it is time to dive in and try to set ourselves up so she can retire early.  

My goal going into this adventure is to have 5-10 rental properties with good cash flow in the next 10 years.  I look forward to learning as much as I conform this amazing group and hope to be ready to make my first purchase by the end of the year.

@Wes Overbay Welcome to the site!  We have a monthly meetup on the second Wednesday of each month you should check out.  Of course, it's cancelled until further notice, but I hope we are back into the swing of things by May!
