I am an aspiring real estate investor at the age of 16 and am looking for any individuals that can give me opportunities to gain real-life experience in this area. Any information on youth internships or available apprenticeships would be appreciated.

Hi @Hanif Lawal. I applaud you for taking interest and action at such a young age. I have two boys your age who are passive real estate investors. They have the advantage of having a dad who is pretty involved in REI. I used to flip and buy & hold single family rentals but now focused on multifamily.
I have also had a college student working with me at one of my properties and have mentored many others on a more hands-on approach. I used to have them join me on maintenance rounds to my properties and we'd talk real estate on the drive. Happy to get you plugged into something like this but might need to wait until social distancing loosens up a bit.
Welcome @Hanif Lawal! It's awesome that you are starting out so young, already great so much advice.
Definitely find a mentor, and I would like to add teach yourself a skill (so much on youtube) about social media marketing, excel/ google sheets, building a website, making effective youtube videos, etc. You have an advantage with growing up on the internet, it will be way easier for you to be effective at these tasks and when you do find a mentor you offer value and it shows that you also have ambition.
It's a good idea to find a mentor but more importantly, you can find them all over the internet and the best have made great content that can make you become one of the best informed ones very quickly. Listen or read to the top 10-20 real estate investment books available, the majority of them happen to be published by Bigger Pockets. I personally use Audible.
Binge the BP real estate, BP real estate rookie and BP money podcast (maybe business too!) and finally: take action. Analyze the numbers even if you can't buy yet. Save up and be ready to take the step when you're ready.
