My best bet is reaching out on Facebook to the REI group for that area.
Before doing that, make sure your Facebook page does not look like a bot/scammer. Make sure you have recent posts and are able to validate your page somehow. Nothings worse than being in those groups and receiving messages from people who live a million miles away, have a profile page not in English, haven't posted in years, and have no real estate background in their bio let alone any of the posts.
At least put your skills, experience, and your interest in the real estate industry in your bio and you may have some more luck.
