ok, so im officially looking for phillies playoff tickets. Id rather get them from someone I can talk to, then buy over ebay, which ill probably end up doing anyway.

I thought david wright was going to cry at the end game interview. lol Thats really not funny, but Im a phillies fan, always have been.
Ive never seen a meltdown like this in my life. If I was a mets fan, like I am a phillies fan, Id be sitting around for the next week, mourning.
I was out when they won, and my cell phone blew up with calls, and I thought, "Oh my god. They clinched it." I didnt even have to answer the phone, because I knew everyone was calling to hollar about the phillies.
People are driving around with different phillies sayings spray painted on their cars. Im thinking about doing it too. lol

I like the rockies alot too. I don't think it will be an upset, because in my opinion, they are pretty evenly matched. Philadelphia had aLOT of luck on their side to get to the playoffs, and are constantly in the position of "We need them to lose, so we can gain."
I wouldnt be surprised if they lost at all, though Ill probably put money on philadelphia.
Did you watch the game? Im still pretty sure he never touched home plate......

I saw the home run that would have won the game for the Rockies much earlier on and the miss of home plate. I think the 2 events likely canceled each other out.

No it wasn't the rockies victory, it was me being stuck, and not able to watch the game! It looks like hamels had a rough second inning. They just need to get warmed up. I guess......

That was a big mistake taking kendrick out the 4th. I personally wouldnt have done it. Yes colorado is playing real well, and you cant take that away. The Phillies do know how to come back, but this is going to be tough. Real tough.
The Indians were on fire last night! I love watching the yanks lose. lol

Yea, it was good. I would have liked the phils to win atleast one, but what are you going to do. It didnt even look like they were ready to play. You have to give credit to the rocks. The pitching was great.
Its sweep city this year! Boston, D-backs, Colorado, and maybe cleveland can pull it off with the yanks. It doesnt look good right now though.

Well considering my history with being a life long cub fan, then being paralyzed last year from being struck in the head by a line drive a Wrigley.. I think it best that I share with you some of the finer words by a great singer/songwriter that Luekemia took from us back in 1984 just days before the Cubs cliched the division, Steve Goodman.

Im not sure exactly how to ask this. Are you paralyzed for life, or was that just an exaggeration? Either way, Im sorry that it happened, though im compelled to hear more about it.
I go to philadelphia spring training every year, down in clearwater, fl. This past year, I was sitting about 10 rows down from a guy who was hit with a screaming line drive, directly in the forehead. He dropped like he just had a massive heart attack. It was horrible.

I was paralyzed for about 4 months having seizures and the like. I have battled back. Lots of long therapy sessions. I am still not quite back to what I was before, but you would never know.
I was more upset that no one from the organization (Cubs) or the player or his team (The cardinals Juan Encarnacion) bothered to even see how I was doing, apologize, etc.
So, in a weird twist of fate, and understand I would never wish this upon anyone, Juan Encarnacion was in the on Deck circle during a game this past September and he was struck in the eye with a line drive. His career is over and he may never regain vision in his eye to 100%.
So, I guess that shows, your actions define who you are. A lesson to be taught here, I guess.
