Introduction: Aspiring Real Estate Investor (Philadelphia)

Hello,

I am very excited to be making this post. I have been a Bigger Pockets listener for the past year or so and finally decided to take the leap into investing. Me and my partner are looking to invest in our first buy and hold using the BRRR strategy in the Philadelphia area. I am beyond excited for this journey wanted to take time to introduce myself to the Bigger Pockets community. If there are any investors local to Philly, lets chat!

Gene

Hi Eugene,

As a Philadelphia area based investor, I'd like to say welcome to the BP forums! If you haven't already I'd check out our local forum to connect with other Philly based investors.

Also, I always recommend newbies check out our local REIA group, DIG (Diversified Investor Group). They were game changing for me when I was starting out. Partner the in-person networking of that group with BiggerPockets, and you should be off to a pretty good start ;)

Best of luck and feel free to reach out to me via PM if you ever have any specific questions!

Best,

Dave
