I never doubted for a second that they wouldn't play. The football industry is waaay to large for it to not play. The economical impact that it would have had in the states would be ridiculous. Imagine all the grocery stores that would miss out on tailgate food, clothing retailers of apparel, bars that have specials on Monday nights!

I'm very excited they are playing as well. I'm a Lions fan we finally have a decent team, only took about 30 years!

The Eagles have picked up some good players in the off season. I am pissed that Vince Young is going to play for them though...I can't root for Vince anymore.

How many more years does Young have do you think? He's been around for a while hasn't he?

I'm completely upset and the more I think about it, not surprised at the Cardinals. It will probably be a hundred more years or so before they ever make to the big show again.

I'm certainly looking for another team to watch this year. I fear the Cards will lack in the exciting department :(

Yeah...the Texans are still freaking idiots for not taking Young. Half of Texas would have worn Young jerseys for many years and they may have a half decent team.

They would still sell a lot now, but not as many as they would have. Despite having a poor passer rating and TD/Int ratio his NFL W/L record is pretty stellar.

Jake, it's all part of Harbaugh's plan to secure Andrew Luck -- patience.

As for Philly, someone has to play nickel corner, good luck convincing Asante. Also, you do realize you need linebackers? and c'mon VY as QB? Philly has holes. As a Giants fan I am much more afraid of Dallas this year. Whenever Big D is under the radar it means trouble.

They did pretty well with Jason Garrett at the end of last year. I am not sure how they manage to do so little with so much talent some years. I am still not sold on Romo, but maybe he'll have a comeback year this year.

There is no doubt they have the talent needed. I just don't think Romo has what it takes to get it done. Their division is going to be tough like it is every year too.

I am not sure how the defense will be...they should be stout...I guess we'll see.

Yes I am very excited about football returning.

I am a Falcons fan but have been with them through the good and bad not just a fair weather fan.

When Matty Ice is on he is unstoppable.What we need is consistency of play and not falling apart sometimes.I also don't like that the head coach Mike Smith has gotten what appears to me to be COMFORTABLE in his play calling.

Yes you have to have a system but being too comfortable means being PREDICTABLE to other teams.I liked when he first joined and took more risk.

I remember Dan Reeves was a nice guy and coach for the Falcons but a horrible play caller.The solution was always "run it up the middle" even though we got stuffed many times.

I just wish coaches would have some balls sometimes.If you want make it and win the Super Bowl you have to have a "no risk,no reward" mentality.
