Hello everyone,
I am new into this space and looking to find any way to invest and get into real estate either locally or out of state. I've been struggling to find ways to find funding and/or get started, so I wanted to reach out and see if anyone in San Diego, CA is potentially open to getting together or doing a real estate meet up. I'm open to work or help with anyone and basically looking for any sort of local networking opportunities. Any one have any availability here in San Diego?

Thanks for reaching Out! I would love to learn how you got started and more about your business. I have seen the same thing here, and want to find ways to get in with little cash. We bought a house to live in (single residence) but haven't been able to really get going on investing out of state.
What type of properties do you invest and what markets do you work in?

Hi Aaron, I'm in San Diego and would love to get together with other "like minded" folks. There are meet ups already such as meetup.com, but I find them to be very "pitchy" if you know what I mean.

We meet at Marina Village at 6:15pm -7 for munchies and networking which is at the marina on Mission Bay. 1936 Quivara Way. Dockside Room. Great event and great people! Presentation 7:30-9pm.
@Damon Ng thanks I'd love to start doing some get togethers with like minded people in in the area. do you have anything going yet?
@Aaron Gilmore Yeah, I started in 2012 and indirectly started investing with Other People Money (OPM). I used my student loans after I finished B-school and bough my first property that is now spawning into near 7 properties.. all with other peoples money. I'm no expert, but I get a small group together to talk shop. The real estate meet ups are great in San Diego too, but I feel I am getting sold on services and products more so than networking with like minded people.
