I want to start a Private Investment Group within Long Beach and surrounding area. 

I have been working with a private real estate investment company for a year now. I want to create a team of investors and other professionals with different backgrounds. The team will eventually buy and manage a portfolio of properties within the area as we grow. 

@Stephen Holmes You could try networking here on BP to get some potential members. However, attending your local REIA meetings will probably get you the results you desire.

Yes, I plan on attending meetings soon. I would like to start a group soon though before interest rates go up. 

What are the requirements for the group? I'm newish (maybe 1 year of actively looking and knowing terms in RE) 

I'm a licensed contractor. Would love to build a group of investors to work together on fix/flip and development projects.
