Hi there
Since I am going to be an out of state investor, I was wondering does anyone use any camera systems to monitor the progress of the rehab, any theft at the site and to ensure you don't get squatters?
If yes, which system do you recommend and how do you get it installed at the site when investing out of state?

The bigger commercial developers in my area use video surveillance. I very rarely see residential developers use these camera systems to monitor their jobs.
I've always been comfortable just putting up a construction fence and checking on the job a couple of times per week. I also always try to strike up a relationship with a neighbor who can be my eyes when I'm not around.
Maybe I'm spoiled by investing in a low crime area but if I were in your shoes I'd like at it like this - If you need to put up a camera system to monitor your house flip, is that a neighborhood that you really want to invest your hard earned money?
