Cure Date: Sell a Short Sale Home after Rehab

Cure Date: Sell a Short Sale Home after Rehab

I bought a house through a short sale, rehabbed it, and put it on the market. I have a good offer but it's an FHA loan. The house is in Arizona. Is there a "cure date" or any wait time to sell through an FHA loan client? Thank you!

I believe there USED to be a rule like this, but they changed it. You can also ask for the contact information of the buyers lender and just confirm.

Here is a small article: Sell to FHA Buyer

Yes, 90 days seasoning. Most lenders use 90 days from your purchase date, to be able to Sign A Purchase Agreement, some use 90 days from sale date to sale date, apparently. They should all be the same since FHA's requirement though. Talk to the loan officer who provided the preapproval for your buyer, and Aalto another unrelated local lender.
