Hi guys,
I am super excited to have my first house under contract in Kissimmee, FL!!!! It needs some work, nothing major but I need a reliable/responsible handyman/carpenter.
I am remote (Miami, about 4 hrs drive) so I am trying to get all the ducks in a row before I start all the work.
I already have
- Painter
- AC guy
- Garage door guy
- Carpet guy
I need a carpenter to replace some wood trims.
If anyone knows someone you trust, please refer them to me. I also take references for the jobs mentioned above as well. I haven't committed to anyone and I found them all in Angies List.
Hello, it is very difficult trying to run a flip from 4hrs away, I tried a few years back and although I sold it for a profit, it was a huge pain in the butt. So many more hurdles to go over when you can't be there daily. I applaud you for your courage though. All that being said I have been looking for a while for someone who might be able to utilize me as a boots on the ground person for one of their properties. I have experiance with many aspects of housing construction. Everything from concrete to light electrical including pluming, tile setting, flooring, drywall .. Well you get the point. Now I don't do much of that kind of work anymore, I do know enough to make sure the job gets done correctly and know how much it should cost .. I can also oversee laborers and teach them quickly how to do certain jobs like painting or laying tile, flooring to keep rehab costs a lot lower than just hiring contractors to do every job. I am not a contractor, I just want to be clear. I have managed up to 20 employees in the past and I am presently not doing anything so I have plenty of time on my hands. I live about 45 mins to 1hr away from Orlando area and would be interested in speaking with you further to see if we could help each other.
