What are some good books on flipping houses?

Question

What books have you people read that you would then recommend to someone else trying to learn about flipping properties?

Preferably something up-to-date, and includes pictures (if possible).

In addition, I highly recommend the book Danny recommends above ("FLIP").

And for a general overview of investing, I recommend Gary Keller's, "The Millionaire Real Estate Investor."

A great friend and huge inspiration to me just recommended three books tonight. The first Keller book mentioned above, his other book, Flip and Hold, and a third book set to release soon, The One Thing. The latter is about focus, and when it comes to the beginnings of a real estate investing carer, I hear focus can be a valuable asset!

J Scott, I'm not even half way through your blog. I'm enjoying the evolution of a SFH strategy, and I chuckle often because I read a few more recent blogs before starting at the beginning, so I'm constantly thinking, “Well, we know how THAT'S going to turn out!" I can't wait to get current and then order your books.

I must butt in here and give my input. I bought J Scott's book the other day with the intention of reading it after I finished my current reading material. With that said I downloaded the e-book version immediately. When I took a glance at it I ended up reading the first 40 pages. That is not my typical glance. I assure you I am not being a prisoner of the moment here either. The book should have been dedicated to me and all the other beginning investors. Although, I have yet to read it in it's entirety I give my utmost recommendation (For whatever thats worth).
