The best way to learn how to inspect a house is to physically inspect it. You can watch some YouTube videos and I'd recommend that over a book, but nothing beats real world experience.
The Book On Flipping Houses is good as a starting point if that helps.

Go walk lots of properties and bring a contractor if you can, or get a house under contract, get an inspector and follow them around and ask lots of questions

Books are great for theory: learning why something should be one way vs another or how something may work.
They are not a cheat sheet for every single building out there and will not teach you solutions to every problem you'd ever encounter in a house. It takes years of hands on experience to get to the point where most contractors and home inspectors are. I'd receemned deligating that responsibility.
