Looking to purchase at the Alameda county tax auction in the Bay Area this week. If I'm unable to bid on any winners does anybody know of and counties around the nation that do Over the counter tax deed sales? If so could you list some possible candidates.
Almost everywhere has "over the counter" tax deeds and liens. The thing is, no one else wanted them at the minimum price, so do you really think they're going to be a deal?

Thanks for the link Alexander.! Wayne, I can understand the possibility of the deeds being passed on may not being a good deal for certain people in that certain area. Will deff have to do homework on each property before purchasing a deed to make sure it's a good deal
@David- The over the counter tax deeds are the same thing as the list of lands available. Check with the Clerk of Courts in any county to find the list and then look at it and then do the research needed and then contact the Clerk of Courts to purchase the deed. It is not a difficult process.
