I have entered a knowledge-consumption stage, and due to there only being so many hours in the day, I must be efficient with my time. I have read perhaps a dozen RE books, with each of them saying more or less the same thing: "I have something else to sell you". The information given is usually too vague and/or loaded with theoretical examples for my taste. I am grateful for finding BP, as it has proven to be a wealth of information with a tremendous support structure built in. I only wish I had found it sooner.

2 weeks ago I read a very interesting thread by Rich Weese. I clicked on his profile to read some more of his posts, and found that he has been(and still is incredibly successful in Life- not just real estate). I visited his website and was delighted to find that he had written a book. I ordered it, and it arrived 2 days later. Opening the book, I found that the author had taken the time to not only autograph the book- but also wrote a letter introducing himself and welcoming me to the world of real estate. I found this to be very encouraging!

I have a collection of 50 or so books by my bed which I am gradually chipping away at(stocks, RE, Economics,German, etc...), and while I do find them interesting, I certainly would rather be playing guitar...

I sat down and began reading the book. Later on that night- I was finished with the book. I can't think of a single book that I have read in one sitting. It is loaded with traditional and incredibly creative real estate deal structuring. What is most impressive is that the author was creating these strategies imself. This book is packed with real world transactions(which the author does a great job of describing clearly) and discusses everything from residential, commercial, notes, tax strategies, business entities, property management, stress management, family, new construction, rental properties, fix-flip, to starting and growing a multi-state brokerage firm.

This book jolted me out of my paralysis by analysis and 10 days later, I am making an offer on a foreclosure. This book is worth its weight in gold, and is something that I will continue to re-read throughout my career(along with my Real Estate Fundamentals and Practices book).

I was also pleased to find out that all proceeds of the book sales goes to fund Alzheimer's research(my uncle suffer's from this terrible affliction).

I thought I would share my impression of this outstanding book, as I found that it assembled all the pieces of the real estate puzzle for me.

Thank you to Rich Weese for sharing your years of success

Sebastian

@Sebastian Baker- Thanks so much. I've had quite a few reviews on both Amazon and a previous thread here on BP that is no longer available, but this one is the nicest. thank you.

@Minh L- Thanks. I'll look forward to inscribing it for you if it is not a Kindle.

@David Krulac- You are 100% correct. As you know, this Book was never written for commercial purposes. It was written "primarily" for my kids and grand kids to know what their dad and grand dad did for his life. It is also not a concept book but a fact driven book.

@Jon Klaus- It is in the works... A 37 night cruise starting Friday will be my "writers office". I'll be posting a thread shortly asking for some help.

@Andy Luck- You are also 100% correct. Seminars, Books, Gurus etc. will do you no good if none of it is put into practice. Let me tell you why I know the Author of this thread has what it takes. I appreciate the fact he bought, read and reviewed my Book. I'm even more impressed with what has happened since.

Sebastian contacted me and explained he was fired up after reading my Book and would like to drive over (4 hours) and take me to lunch and "chat". I knew he would benefit from the effort and welcomed him over. I would like to think that something I said helped him to make some changes and led to the decision to making an offer. We chatted about it enough that I'm very comfortable he will do fine AND he will be writing his own Book down the line and I might get a footnote. (Sebastian-just like the guy that taught me exchanging!)

@Brandon Hicks- It is available on Amazon and also available on the website in paperback cover. It still is available because I inscribed and sent out a few today.

Thanks again for the nice comments. I know many other BP members have read it. Feel free to chime in with your thoughts, good or bad-I can handle it. The Book came out just exactly as intended and the updated Book with Chapter 13 Challenge was fun to add to recent Edition. Rich

For anyone thinking about buying @Rich Weese's book, do it! His book is an easy read and he is a great story teller. Also, his tips on saving on taxes is awesome. From buying single family homes, apartment buildings, entire subdivisions and building new development, I am not sure what Rich hasn't done! I met Rich at the BP summit back in 2012. He was nice enough to let me talk to him for 30 minutes with his undivided attention. He is the real deal and for anyone needing a little pick me up motivation, this book will cure it. If BP has another summit again, please let Rich speak. Thanks for coming back to BP after a long hiatus.

I just got this e book from Amazon and read it in a few hours. It's a great book and quick easy read. Very informative and entertaining. It is also very motivational. I'm sure I will re read this a number of times in the future. I would highly recommend it to anyone from beginner investor to high end expert. It details out a number of very useful techniques for creative investing and also a number of excellent tax ideas. If your a real estate investor then you need to buy this book for your accountant. It can easily save you thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars over the next few years. I am going to definitely implement a few of these ideas into my business. https://www.amazon.com/Janitor-Multi-Millionaire-Mike-Weese-ebook/dp/B0070PNOLU @Rich Weese

    @Charlie Price

I appreciate the nice review, but I appreciate your post to "how high can property values go up even more. It is nice for some experienced investors to explain to all the newer investors how bad reality can look. I suggest everyone check out history. It does repeat itself.

I got the book from the author's website. That comes with added bonus of personalized message.

This is a phenomenal book. It provides a great insight into the actual game of Real estate deals.  It is no surprise that the book is highly engaging and rewarding since the author has peppered it with numerous examples from his 30 plus years of experience.

As many have mentioned, it is an easy read.  I love that the book never tries to oversell itself or get tangled into using complex terms or formulas.  Even the most innovative and complicated deals are explained with a great ease.

It will blow your mind away for sure and will open up floodgates of the possibilities that you may have never think of while procuring a real estate deal.  It is by far the best book I have read with creative ideas for closing deals as well as some fantastic tips on saving taxes.

I would give it 5 out of 5 star and would recommend it wholeheartedly to everyone.

@Rich Weese Thank you for sharing your experience in the book as well as here on BP. Truly grateful.
