I signed up for Coaching
On BiggerPockets, we talk a lot about coaching and there's a debate on whether coaching is good or bad or whether it's worth the money or not. If you want to know more about that, then search up all of the other posts about it.
I signed up for coaching recently. But it's not the coaching that you are probably thinking of. I signed up for AI coaching and SEO coaching. Personally, I have found a lot of value in coaching. So right now, I am doing some Group coaching on AI and SEO. And to be honest, I don't like Group coaching. I really like one-on-one coaching. But I don't know anybody that teaches SEO one-on-one or AI one-on-one. And the reason that I'm doing this rather than just hiring somebody to do it for me because I have seven different websites and I don't wanna pay them thousands of dollars for each website so that they will all come up higher in the search engines. I figured if I learned the skills myself and then I can use the same skills on each of my websites.
I also have a friend that I meet with about every two weeks and he's a bit ahead of me when it comes to understanding AI and SEO. So after I finish with my group coaching meeting, he and I will meet and talk about SEO and AI for a couple of hours and we will start trying to build things and create things and systematize things using AI and we're using AI in order to help us with SEO. He is a land flipper, so we're close enough in real estate to be helpful to one another.
Starting coaching again makes me remember what I felt like when I first started in Real Estate. I was excited, I knew there was a lot to learn, but I knew if I didn't get involved then I would never really fully learn. Additionally, I saw the benefits of how my Real Estate coaching helped to speed up my learning curve and so I'm hoping that my AI and SEO coaching will do the same.

as mentioned coaching is not a bad thing. the question is who is doing the coaching and how much are you paying for that coaching. for example would you pay $15000 to learn from somebody who doesn't actually teach you how to do something but just focuses everything and the enter course is based on marketing and thinks marketing is the solution to everything?
then when do a background check on the person and find out they essentially stole $2 million from investors because of bad deals in exactly the field that they're doing the coaching in. now i'm all for "hey you have a bad deal and deals go sideways" but if you cannot show you've ever made money in something and lost millions while then trying to coach, that is a different perspective.

Another way to look at it a somebody goes for a run in their neighborhood for three days in a row and then spins out a course on how to be a professional runner or someone makes spaghetti during the week and are now an Italian chef.. that's the lunacy the space has entered
