Hey Steven,

I can vouch for the benefits of the group as well.  I, like you, was a little hesitant at first to pay for a mentorship group, but it was a great move for my business.  I joined last fall and have closed 103 units since.  One aspect of it that has been incredibly helpful for me that might not be obvious has been the network of other investors you automatically place yourself in when joining the group.  I've raised $1M in capital from partners in the last 6 months for the 103 doors, and a large piece of that has come from this group!  On top of that, I've gotten access to their vendors - lenders, attorneys, cpas, insurance agents, etc, which has been very helpful.

    Hey Steven,

    I can vouch for that. I have been a member of the academy since June 2018 and my life literally took a 180% turn. The education is great, live calls every Monday, awesome community always available to answer your questions, and overall great group of people. Jake and Gino truly care about helping others and I could not recommend them enough. If you are joining the Academy, you are joining a family. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

    Hey @Steven Escobedo, I am a member of the WBP academy and feel it’s been very helpful for my businesses partners and I. While there are plenty of good coaching programs out there, Jake and Gino stand out because of their authenticity and the time they invest into educating and growing their community.

    I’ve spoken directly to Gino on multiple occasions and each time, I have come out of the conversation feeling that I have an experienced ally on my team, someone who I can learn from and cares about my success. It is my understanding that you do not get that with every program... in a lot of programs you never even get to speak to the primary operators. 

    A quick narrative to highlight my last point: after being part of the academy for roughly a month, I attended one of Jake & Gino’s live events. The first day I was there, Gino walked up to me, shook my hand, remembered my name and my profession and introduced me to another investor. I don’t know too many real estate “gurus” who do that...

    My experience with them is the same as the previous people have said. Well worth every penny. Always willing to help and truly care about you being successful. Would join a hundred times over.

    I met Gino briefly as he was a speaker at our conference this past weekend. Seems like a good guy, and I know he was vetted before asked to speak. No comment on his actual services, I know nothing about them. Just a comment that he seems to be a good person, not a scammer.

    I joined Wheelbarrow profits with my investment partners last year and it's been great! Jake And Gino provide top notch, no nonsense investment education and support. It's much more than I expected it to be. When I first joined we had a one on one call with Gino right away so he could meet us and understand our goals.  The Monday calls refine certain aspects of multifamily investing with the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. The Wheelbarrow team is super responsive and we always feel like they have our back with anything we might encounter. I just emailed Gino a question today and had a response within 5 minutes. They earnestly want their members to succeed and are extremely genuine and approachable.

    my partner and I recently signed on with Jake & Gino’s mentorship and haven’t looked back since! It was a decent chunk of change in our mind but we are SO happy we took the plunge. Money well spent! 

    We’ve only been signed on for 2-3weeks and have put in LOIs on properties and been back and forth confidently in negotiations with sellers. The education in the academy is top notch, the community is super helpful and responsive and the weekly video conferences along w direct contact with the team is excellent. They are truly there to see you succeed and gain the knowledge necessary to be successful in this business.

    Our goal before signing on was 150 units in 5 years and now we feel we will do that in two years or less. We felt we were lacking a few systems on the management side and some confidence on the buying process but now with their help we are totally confident and have created a framework for our business to function for years to come. 

    We’ve seen some others out their charging much more and honestly I can’t say for sure but I feel Jake & Ginos education and mentorship provide more value because they’re team truly is dedicated to your education and success.

    My advice would be to read Wheelbarrow Profits and if it strikes a cord with you, make that investment. You can also follow them on social media to see how genuine they are. I've got 13 years' multifamily experience and I can tell you that they know what they're talking about from both a management and investment perspective. Let us know what you decide!

    Hi Steven I’m also a WBP member from Los Angeles. I would recommend Jake and Gino because they are authentic and care about your success. The money I spent helped shorten my learning curve and accelerated my time for success. I now have a community and other investors with similar goals that help each other succeed. I have meet and spoken to the operators directly on several occasions.

    Through there platform I have been able to be a LP on a 100+ larger multifamily unit. I am currently looking to be a KP with another partner but I would not be able to do what I can do now without the education and guidance form the WBP community. It was money well spent.

    To echo my fellows WBP Academy students, J&G are legit. They offer tremendous value. The community is outstanding, everyone is a go-Giver! I wish I found them sooner. I spent 4 months floundering in the beginning before I found them. I can't seen enough good things. 

    I agree with @Matt Burns - listen to their podcast, they're the same on the show as they are in real life, if you dig it, join it!

    I live in Knoxville, TN where I am consistently around the Jake and Gino team and all they do is provide value left and right. I would highly recommend their coaching. They do real deals, day in and day out, I see them around the corner from where I live and from our apartments. They are big role models to me and the furthest thing from "guru's." I cannot speak more highly of Josh, Dylan, Gino, Jake, Nick and all the others.

    @Steven Escobedo I can recommend the Wheelbarrow Profits academy by Jake & Gino.

    The content will teach you multifamily from A-Z in a none BS, Easy to understand way.

    The WBP framework is Buy Right, Finance right and Manage right.

    Jake & Gino regularly add content and add value to their members, they have few options for coaching, depending on you situations and what you are looking for. 

    whether you just starting up or advance there few options. 

    The community itself is great, I made many new friendships and keep learning all the time. 

    You should come to the live event in Orlando, this year towards the end of October.

    @Steven Escobedo I would echo what everyone here has said as well. Their coaching has far exceeded my expectations, and been worth every single penny. The whole team is very genuine and you can tell they are invested in your success. The community around the coaching is fantastic as well.

    Nice to hear about the authenticity of the wheelbarrow profits program and about Jake and Gino personally as we were thinking about approaching them to request affiliation. We have heard good things about them too, they sound like great guys and top professionals.

    Thanks to Jake and Gino (and great partners) we are closing on our first multi-family (30 units) sometime in mid-April 2019. We previously only had 4 SFH and one duplex and one triplex. Their support, including answering specific questions during weekly webinars, as well as IN PERSON, has been so awesome. You feel passion and there is always a good answer, or let's throw the question out to the Facebook group. You will not regret signing up, but, of course, you have to put in the work and review and learn the lessons! Good Luck @Steven Escobedo!

    @Lamont Marable I definitely recommend J&G if multifamily is the arena you wanna be in. I have read their books and listened to their podcasts. I have institutional experience in apartments. I don't get coaching from them but they are the real deal if you're new to MF investing and management and need support

    @Matt Burns, @Nicholas Ameluxen, @Suzanne Nelson, @JP A., @Benoit Malige - Hey everyone. Glad to hear you've all had positive experiences with their coaching program. The OP mentioned the cost is $10k, however, the only coaching programs I see are the Wheelbarrow Basic for $2k and the Wheelbarrow Pro for $5k. Has the price been reduced or is OP referring to a different program all together?

    @Taylor Shapiro I haven't signed up for their coaching but I read their book. It could be a great resource for new multifamily investors. I'm a certified apartment manager with the national apartment association so I really don't need their coaching program. But someone without experience who is serious about multifamily investing could get a lot of value out of it. The book is $20, $6 on Kindle and I think it's a good way to get familiar with the basics. People have to decide for themselves if the coaching is worth the money.     @Matt Burns- Appreciate the feedback. I've flipped 30+ houses in the past 4 years and managed 300+ units for 2 of those years to gain some experience in the apartment building world. Syndicating seems to be the next logical step given my past experience and personal interest. I plan on looking into Jake and Gino's program a little further. Seems they have a great reputation and track record. Thanks again!
