I have a real estate buyers website to collect names of investors who are looking for deals.I'm asking the community for feedback on suggestions on where to park my site to attract investors interest.
@John Meza The route you must go is to create more epic-wow content, and get those pieces of content ranked locally. Then create tons of attention by networking to force others share that content which goes viral and builds backlinks.
Plus you can think about advertising on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Youtube if you have a budget to work it. At the end of the day it all comes down to building your online presence.
Where to park? Are you looking for domain name suggestions? Hosting suggestions? Or are you looking for channels with which to advertise and increase traffic?

Antonio has provided some great advice. Building an online presence definitely takes time and effort though. Along with his suggestions I would recommend doing a little research into basic SEO practices. Yep, content is king, if you have relevant content, you can attract good traffic, better yet, traffic that converts. Paying for traffic is quite expensive because of the nature of the business, you can expect to pay 3 to 5 dollars per click on average if you advertise in google or bing. I think that buying ad placements in sites that cater to the type of customer you want is you best option and I will also follow Antonio's recommendations as well. Good luck!
I would recommend advertising via Google AdSense, FB, and other means that have a high volume of people coming through, but I'm not sure if thats the wisest way to attract investors.
I would try to collect a list of investors through other means, such as local Real Estate Clubs, word of mouth, Craigslist, Biggerpockets, etc.
A lot of people say, and I agree with, if you have deals, buyers will come.

@Chris Bingham To rank locally if you are using Wordpress you should do the following:
1. Make sure your targeted city and state are in the title of your post.
2. Have your targeted city and state in the body of your content. I would even link the city and state keyword to wikipedia for onsite SEO.
3. Use the city and state in your tags. For Example if you are writing a post about "The Best Restaurants in Miami Fl" you would use keyword tags like "Best Brazilian Restaurants in Miami Fl", "Best Italian Restaurants In Miami Fl", "Best Greek Restaurants in Miami Fl", etc.
I know this thread is old but maybe you can still use the information for your own content marketing campaign.

One thing that you might find useful is focusing on "long-tail keywords" relative to your local area. You can find out what these terms are for your area by using the Google Keyword tool https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2999770. Long-tail keywords are longer phrases that people may be using to find info about real estate in your area. So, for example, if "single family homes" is a common search term relative to your target market, you you might start creating content or "Curating" content that talks about issues regarding "four bedroom single family homes in Sandy Utah". The longer terms will cause you to rank more favorably in searches that fall outside of the standard search of "single family homes". Does that make sense?
The process is not quick as Google has changed its algorithms to filter out "content-spinning". So, you could thing of this as "digital farming"; a process that will take time, but will eventually establish you as a key ranking site.
