I've been using RentRedi since January 1. I switched over from RentecDirect. It's easy to set up and use. Seems like a small company that is growing, so customer service is really good. Choosing landlord software is often about what kinds of features you need. RentecDirect had MORE than I needed, so why pay for it? I switched to RentRedi and I'm glad I did.

@Arron Barnes Hey there! I'm using it. I've been on RentRedi since the early days of its inception. The payments are super easy! I love the flexibility. You have he ability to connect multiple accounts if you would like to setup different properties like this. Or if you prefer one deposit account bam! its that easy. If you want more info on how I use if for properties shoot me a message. I wouldn't mind jumping a quick call for questions or if you simply want a demo of how I have it set up and how easy its been!
Hey @Arron Barnes , I've been using RentRedi for a few months and has worked pretty well for me. There are definitely some hiccups with it being a small company, but I do have to say that their response time on tickets is really fast.
I have had no issues with using their rent collection services. It is perfect for a portfolio size of 5-15 units. I think once you get more than that, you would need a more expansive program
I use it for my rental property extremely easy to use. I used it to list my properties, screen tenants, manage payments, send notifications, manage maintenance. Basically does it all and the customer service and response time on the in app or online chat is insanely fast. Huge fan. Would definitely recommend.
I have approx 80 doors and am looking for some software. I am using Quickbooks now and i know its way past time i look for something else. I like using QB for tracking expenses and was thinking of rent redi for rent payments, maintenance requests, and screening. All while keeping QB for expenses. Any thoughts on this set up?
Honestly it would depend on the demographics of your rentals. The systems makes this easy for you to do. Also don't forget you get to add team members which I hope is safe to say you have given the amount of doors you own. This feature is again free unlike other platforms that usually charge per user. Maybe try a few and see how it is adopted.

QB, if set up appropriately, is the best. RentRedi, well, it is the opposite. As in NOT THE BEST. You can collect maintenance request, but you cannot track your correspondences to each request. Your screening is limited to ONLY what RentRedi thinks should be part of the screening process, and rent payments...well, you will be reported to the IRS for the fees RentRedi charges..and RentRedi will not give you their W9 to write those off as an expense.
Reviving this thread. COntrary to a lot of the peopel in this thread, I found rentredi to be a POS. I have been using Stessa and absolutely love it, but it does not yet have maintenance issue tracking. I figured I would try rentRedi just for that part of it.
The UI is horrible. takes way too many steps to set up anything, terrible user experience. Unfortunately I paid for a year subscription - hopefully i can get it back. They lied about having a landlord app for mobile - its not an app, its just a webpage tha you navigate to on your mobile device.
The software makes way too many assumptions that are not right for my use. Also, it does not have a notion of portfolios - only property and unit. this is unacceptable for someone like me who manages and is a member of multiple separate LLCs, partnerships, portfolios.
If you have a few single family rental homes and are looking for a way to streamline leases, applications and rents, maybe rentredi is the right solution, but if you have a multi unit property or any serious management needs, look elsewhere. this is horrible software.
Rentredi sucks big time. it is not user friendly at all. It tries to do too many things and poorly at that. If it would concentrate on rent collection only and do it well, it might be okay. Its dashboard is so cluttered, it hard to see who has paid and who hasn't. I've been trying to have one tenant do the autopayment for 8 months now and it has only worked one time. I had to switch from erentpayment since Rentredi bought them and got roped into a year membership. As soon as the year membership is up, I'm leaving.
I agree I used RentRedi before the Bigger Pockets endorsement. I had struggles the did some updates and I was excited to try them again. I feel like they get 90% of your problems solved to create 10% new problems. I have struggled to get my money. Its been almost 2 weeks and I still dont have my rent payments, they are just sitting somewhere other than my bank account and the support has been horrible.
Just remember you get what you pay for. And there are far better "free" solutions on the market.
