@Precious Thompson I’ve never heard that term specifically, but the property is being used for something it’s not allowed/zones to be used for. You see that a lot in cities where a single family is illegally converted into 2. Or 3 into 4, etc
In some cases, you can petition the zoning board to change the zoning, but that’s getting harder and harder unless you have specific reasons that they should. Many times, you need to decide if you want to keep it as is (illegally) and risk someone figuring it out and stopping you (and maybe fines?). Or if you want to convert it back to a single family.
