Every Tuesday at 12:00PM a group of investors meets at the Sizzlin Skillets restaurant, 275 W Foothill Blvd, Upland. It only costs what you decide to spend on lunch. Mic Blackwell is regularly in attendance as well as a handful of other local investors. I purchased many houses in that room and it is basically where I got my start.
There may be a few meetups happening but these are the ones we've worked with in the past and that have been around a while.
I wouldn't be afraid to check out Orange County. It's not too far away and the clubs there have many investors that invest in the IE. They have more regular meetings. I have a list on our website for the clubs we work with on an annual basis that I try to keep up to date every year. Hope that helps.

@Aaron Mazzrillo I'm in the San Gabriel area so Upland it's not too far away. Would it be worthwhile for somebody like me to go? I'm new to REI, don't know anybody there, and don't know the in's and out's. SGV and IE is so big, don't know where to start looking.

@Warren K. You should definitely go. Make sure you meet Mic. He's helped a lot of people get started in the business. I can't make it tomorrow, but there is always a great group of people.

It is in a former Sizzler now renamed Sizzlin' Skillets. 275 E Foothill Blvd, Upland. They meet at noon~?? every Tuesday in the private front room. You'll see them behind the windows on the right as you are walking towards the register. There are about 10-15 every week. Just show up and introduce yourself.
You buy your own lunch at the register and they bring it to you just like Sizzler. I highly recommend the chicken club, but everything is pretty good.
A basket is passed around later for a tip to the staff.

There's always someone there. I just got back from a 5 day fishing trip so I missed yesterday, but I'll probably be there next Tuesday.

I attended a meet up last month for a new club. Approximately 20 people attended from all different backgrounds. It's held in Riverside at the Mission Inn. Next meeting is December 22nd at 6:30pm. I enjoyed myself and I will be in attendance again this month.

That post was copied off my page. I wrote it when the meeting was located at a different restaurant. I don't think the food looks very good at the new restaurant, but that's just personal preference. I'm not a fan of buffets.
