The Acting Governor has asked businesses to send non-essential workers home, and the City of Waltham has issued a snow emergency and asking businesses to shut down and send workers home, no parking on the streets, etc.
So we're cancelling for tonight, and will save the game and prizes for another time! If you know someone who was going, and you think they didn't get this notice, can you call or text them?

Funny enough I had a PM here on BP from someone that I had been talking to that was going to check it out and he was saying he was still hoping to get out so I let him know.
Thanks guys. We were sitting on the fence, and were considering having it anyway, but when the governor requests that we shut down, it's sort of mandatory. Even though it's not.
@VLADIMIR LOPEZ we have two meetings per month, and they are all free and open to the public. The next two are in January and are on the website, Black Diamond url is in my signature below.
As for this particular program, with the SurvivorOpoly game, I don't know, we'll have to figure it out. Maybe in the summer, when people want to have fun. If you sign up for the mailing list on Black Diamond, you'll always know the next events. :-)
Although we draw a mostly intermediate to advanced group of investors, so I'd say a good percentage of them are already there.
And philosophically speaking, I think most real estate investors are capitalists. Certainly not socialists. If that were the case, they'd be asking their tenants to pay just their fair share of what it costs to buy and operate the building. Instead of looking for cash flow. :-)
I had all intentions of going last night. Should have checked my email a little earlier than 6pm. I work Waltham so would have been a great place to wait out the storm. Instead I hung out at work until 8pm and waited for everyone to get off the road. See you at the next meeting.

@Paul Sorgi I'm so sorry you hung out waiting for us. I'm hearing such horrible stories of people leaving work at 3PM and getting home 5 hours later, that as it turned out, we feel we made the right call cancelling. 95 was a parking lot, and we would have had trouble getting to the event ourselves. We tried to call it as early as possible in the day.
